Since the Scottish Housing Regulator confirmed a high level of engagement in 2012 we have delivered a considerable amount of work; this has included a very different approach to business planning and risk management, new nationally accredited governance and customer involvement arrangements, as well as commencement of a substantial change programme including a fundamental review of our organisational structure. We received confirmation of a reduced level of engagement from the regulator in 2014 as a result of the progress we are making. We have a strong and supportive Board and a clear focus on building our financial strength, improving value for money and in achieving excellent service for our customers.
The post offers a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic company, one that is positively reshaping services and our strategic direction as well as leading significant performance improvement with a newly formed team. The Head of Customer Service roles will also be instrumental in building successful relationships with our local communities and key stakeholders.
I have been at River Clyde Homes for 3 years now. In this time I have been greatly enthused by the potential of the company. We have a committed workforce and one that is doing some great work for the benefit of our customers. Our recently completed Customer Satisfaction Survey has evidenced a ‘step change’ in customer satisfaction from some of the lowest ratings in Scotland 3 years ago to some of the highest now.
However there is still a lot to do; but we have a strong foundation on which to build and a talented team in place. So we are looking to recruit an outstanding individual who will complement our team, and bring drive and leadership in our continuing journey toward being amongst the very best housing providers in Scotland.
