Scottish Refugee Council is Scotland’s national refugee charity, dedicated to supporting people in need of refugee protection. Our mission is to build a society where people of all ages are protected, find safety and support and have their human rights and dignity respected and are able to achieve their full potential.

A knowledgeable and committed staff team of 100, supported by a team of passionate and talented volunteers, working across Scotland providing advice and support to people at a difficult time in their lives. We work together to promote community integration, stand up for refugee rights and campaign for a fairer and more humane asylum system. We coordinate the annual Refugee Festival and work in close partnership with organisations across sectors. All of our work is guided by our values of respect, empowerment, resilience and creativity.
