We are looking for an exceptional and experienced individual, with proven business leadership. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Divisional Director will be responsible for Transport and Neighbourhood Operational Functions.  This is an exciting key appointment for the Council in terms of setting future strategy and delivering key Neighbourhood change programmes. To be ahead of the game we have recently introduced a new ‘Neighbourhoods and Place’ model to facilitate greater management within community planning areas while engaging with external partners to provide tailored operational services that meet the needs of local communities. This new model has initially focussed on operational services to align with other area based council services and promote a ‘One Glasgow’ approach to service delivery and it aims to ensure that the diversity of people and place across the City are engaged with, listened to and get the services they need.
