Chief Executive Officer

Chair’s Foreword

On behalf of the Board, thank you for your interest in the role of Chief Executive Officer at Grampian Housing Association.

This is an important appointment for the organisation. Grampian has a strong track record of delivering high-quality homes and services and we are proud of the difference we make across the communities we serve.

As we look ahead, we are seeking a Chief Executive with the experience, energy and commitment to provide clear leadership, build on our strengths and achieve further success for Grampian through the opportunities and challenges ahead.

The successful candidate will bring substantial senior executive experience, along with the vision to lead positive and sustainable change while ensuring we continue to meet our regulatory, environmental and compliance responsibilities, and maintain affordable rents.

You will have a strong understanding of the social housing sector, its challenges and drivers, and a proven track record of senior leadership within a customer-focused and regulated environment. Experience of overseeing significant revenue and capital budgets, alongside long-term financial planning, will be essential.

Equally important is your ability to lead and support our colleagues. You will be a visible and inclusive leader, able to empower staff, build a positive and high-performing culture, and maintain a clear focus on improving services and outcomes for our tenants and customers.

Above all, we are looking for someone who shares our values and our commitment to good governance, strong performance and excellent service. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board to shape the future direction of the organisation, ensuring that we continue to operate in a sustainable and responsible way.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this opportunity.
