For a quarter of a century Manor has been a leading  Registered Social Landlord in Edinburgh and the talented individual who will be appointed as Chief Executive is key to our continued success in serving so many communities across this wonderful capital city.

We have developed properties in the past and are keen to do so again as the opportunities arise. But we are more than this.  Performance review and process improvements, following business transformation, are making sure that we can deliver sustainable tenancies and services for now and for future generations. We want to go beyond ‘just being a landlord’ and successfully deliver property related and wellbeing services developed in partnership with local authorities and refined through listening to our customers.

Critically important decisions about the associations’ future have been led by our Board, who have set the strategic directions we need. These have included identifying the key risks to our business and our tenants and creating a strategic business review to address them. Over the past three years we have enhanced our Board and created strong and positive links with our funders, partners, regulators and fellow associations.

The opportunity to work together with like-minded leaders of similar sized organisations across Edinburgh will ensure that we continue to improve across all key metrics, sharing services, opportunities and knowledge openly for the benefit of all our tenants and customers.

Besides the people leadership, management and fellowship requirements of the role there are opportunities to shape our future.
