As a mentor at Entrepreneurial Spark, Nigel Fortnum is delighted that one of his “chicklets” (the term used at ES for mentees!) has secured valuable funding from a venture capitalist.

With nearly 20 years of recruitment experience, Nigel was well matched with Tracy Eker who has established the recruitment website www.flexiworkforce.com.

The site specialises in roles that offer flexible working, part time, shift work etc. and comes at a pivotal time as, from 30June 2014, the Government is extending the right for flexible working to all employees.

The new Flexible Working Regulations and Part 9 of the Children and Families Act 2014 will mean that all employees have the right to request flexible working after 26 weeks’ service, rather restrict it to those with children under the age of 17.

Aspen work with a variety of clients and, as we work in close partnership with both clients and candidates, we always strive to find roles that suit all aspects of an individuals working and home life balance and vice versa for finding candidates best suited to a clients business needs.
