HOUSING ASSOCIATION RECRUITMENT
Scotland’s housing associations and housing co-operatives provide around 280,000 homes for a range of needs and over 5,000 places in supported housing. Housing associations and co-operatives are major Scottish employers, providing 11,000 full-time jobs. They are part of the social, affordable housing sector and supply quality, affordable homes to those in need.
As social businesses, housing associations also support apprenticeships in construction and maintenance, often in areas where jobs are needed.
Over the past 10 years we have enjoyed working with Housing Associations and also with Public Sector organisations’ housing departments and have recruited a number of individuals in this sector. We are delighted to be continuing to work in the sector and are currently working with two housing associations – Scottish Borders Housing Association and Maryhill Housing Association – to recruit three senior roles.
Scottish Borders Housing Association is looking to recruit two roles – a Head of Property Services and a Head of Asset Planning & Development. The roles offer a unique and exciting opportunity for ambitious individuals who will play a key role in delivering SBHA’s mission and strategic objectives and progress a significant development programme.
Nigel Fortnum, our Director leading the search commented:
“These newly created roles are an excellent opportunity to join a Housing Association which is leading the way in customer service provision”.
