Happy Holidays 2015 from Aspen

Happy Holidays 2015 from Aspen

As the festive season phases into full swing, complete with the cheering promise of long anticipated family reunions, delightful dinners to warm the chilliest spirits, nostalgia galore and possibly a tipple or two, we at Aspen are taking stock after a record breaking 2015.

This year we have been privileged enough to work with globally recognised companies in both the public and private sectors. Our drive  to deliver high calibre candidates throughout the UK and further afield have spanned from partnerships with local governing bodies East Renfrewshire Council, Aberdeen City Council, and City of Edinburgh Council, to recruitment on behalf of leading educational institutions such as The Open University, The University of Glasgow and several colleges within the University of the Highlands and Islands.  Equally our support and advocacy of the admirable services of the NHS has made our campaigns with several of their branches a continuation of success, building on a relationship of mutual accomplishment Aspen are excited to consolidate further in the new year.

Always keen for fresh challenges Aspen have also had the opportunity to work with numerous organisations in the private sector, leading assignments on behalf of food and drinks purveyors, tourism resorts, energy and waste service providers and various housing associations. Every new string to our bow has been an opportunity to forge new pathways for progression, and put our team’s adaptive, bespoke expertise as recruitment professionals to great use.

2015 has also been characterised by our expansion into campaigns to fill several non-executive positions. We have been privileged to work closely with Edinburgh College Students Association, Citizens Advice Scotland, SCLD and The Gannochy Trust, to name but a few, helping facilitate their appointment of key Trustees.

The year’s highlights also include welcoming 2 new Consultants and a new Assistant Project Co-ordinator to the Aspen Family; Mhairi Higgins, Liam Kelly and Hannah Birtwistle-Craine swiftly made themselves indispensable assets to both our offices and business partners, investing their individual skills-sets, ingenuity, and competencies, into locating ideal candidates for every one of our clients unique needs.

All-in-all it has been a year of achievement to be thankful for and as the entire team prepares for a well-earned break over the festive period we believe we can reflect with pride on our enduring reputation and love of the company as a whole. We will continue in our commitment to excellence, reliability, quality and partnership as we usher in not only 2016 but the beginning of our journey toward Aspen 2020.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Aspen Team.
