Aspen are delighted to announce that Kelsey Sinclair, Project Coordinator has achieved the PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification.

PRINCE2  (projects in controlled environments)  – it is an internationally recognised and well established project management methodology which can be tailored to any given project irrelevant of size or industry.  The biggest benefit of PRINCE2 is standardisation.  Everyone on a project has a common approach to the work – with common document sets, filing systems and procedures.   It is a tried and trusted system – benefitting from over 30 years of development in thousands of projects worldwide

Kelsey attended an intensive week long combined course, with Advantage Learning  at the end of January , sitting two exams (Foundation and Practitioner) – passing with flying colours!

Further information on the PRINCE2 principles and themes can be found at however the main areas that the PRINCE2 training looks at are:

  • Delivering project value
  • Project organisation and control
  • Project planning and quality
  • Managing project risk

Ken Dalgleish, Managing Director, commented:  "Congratulations to Kelsey on completing this challenging programme. The subject matter is highly relevant to the ongoing success of Aspen and we are delighted at the prospect of Kelsey utilising her knowledge and training to further underpin the good governance we are known for. Well done!"

Kelsey is now hoping to apply some of her learning to Aspen largely via progress meetings, helping to enhance the existing strong project quality and control.   We also believe it will bring benefits in particular to a number of our clients who adhere to the PRINCE2 principles.
