CIH SCOTLAND CONFERENCE 2016
The CIH Scotland Conference is the biggest and best housing event in Scotland. The Conference this year was held in Edinburgh, Scotland’s political heart, to discuss and debate the sector’s goals and all the key topics which will shape the housing sector future. Welfare reform, politics, wellbeing and innovation were the headline topics and the event promised the chance for informed debate to enable the sector to create a healthy future in which much of the content could influence future strategies.
The event enjoyed a wide spectrum of speakers, delegates, sponsors and exhibitors including Aspen.
Due to our growing client portfolio within the housing sector and the recognition Aspen has a valuable part to play in attracting new talent for the future, we decided to exhibit at this event for the first time. Over the two days and one night we were delighted with the number of key relationships we cemented new introductions made and raising the profile of the Aspen at the event across the sector. We felt the CIH had organised the event exceptionally well and this gave delegates plenty of time to visit the exhibition, in between the various seminars. Including the evening tickets and lunch within the cost of the stand was excellent and we were able to enjoy a more relaxed evening with clients.
We also felt the EICC was a fantastic venue for the event and have already said we will be taking our stand again next year.
