NHS 24 APPOINTS ANN MARIE GALLACHER AS CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER

We are delighted to advise that NHS 24 has appointed Ann Marie Gallacher as Chief Information Officer. Ann Marie joins the top leadership time at a crucial time as they move forward with their new technology platform with their commercial delivery partners.

NHS 24 is the national contact centre organisation for NHS Scotland and is responsible for providing a range of telehealth services to people across Scotland. NHS 24 also supports and facilitates developments in telehealth and telecare to improve the health and wellbeing of the population. Delivery of safe, effective and person centred care to the people of Scotland is the absolute priority for NHS 24.

Ann Marie will have a crucial ‘hands on’ role in overseeing the development and implementation of the digital and IT infrastructure needed to support the strategic and business objectives of NHS 24. She will help to ensure that they maximise current and emerging digital technologies to aid the delivery of a positive citizen experience and efficient operations.

Following an extensive search exercise by the Aspen team, led by our Managing Director, Ken Dalgleish, Aspen were able to secure an outstanding field of candidates for NHS 24. After a robust screening and interview process Ann Marie emerged as the preferred candidate.
