We’re pleased to announce that, following a successful campaign with Aspen, Changing Faces have now appointed Angela Harris as their new Head of Scotland. Angela brings a wealth of senior leadership experience to the role having been the Head of Scotland at Breast Cancer Care. During her ten years at the charity, Angela created successful partnerships with NHS health boards across Scotland and also worked closely with the Scottish Government and leading funders.

Angela oversaw the transformation of face to face services across Scotland at Breast Cancer Care and was a founding member of the WoSCAN Psychological Therapies and Support Framework to improve psychological services for those affected by cancer.

Becky Hewitt, CEO of Changing Faces, said:

“I am delighted that we have attracted such a strong leader to head up our incredible team in Scotland at such an exciting time for Changing Faces. Angela’s appointment comes as we continue to deliver our ambitious new strategy focusing on service innovation and being a leading voice for people with visible differences.

Angela has a strong reputation as a real collaborator within the sector and I know she will bring the focus, professionalism and commitment to grow and innovate our services and bring about real change for people with visible differences.”

Angela Harris, Head of Scotland at Changing Faces, said:

“I’ve watched Changing Faces develop over the last few years and I’m thrilled to now be part of such an ambitious organisation that does important and life-changing work.

Having worked closely with women and men who are often facing a difficult time in their lives, I know how important it is that we listen to what people need and deliver the services that they want. I’m looking forward to working with people across Scotland to provide fantastic services that restore choice, control and options into the lives of those with a visible difference.”

Aspen would like to wish both Angela and Changing Faces all the best going forward.
