ASPEN TO RECRUIT NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE FOR SCDI
Aspen are delighted to be working with the Scottish Council for Development in Industry (SCDI) to recruit their new Chief Executive following the departure of Prof. Lesley Sawers.
SCDI are keen to appoint a new Chief Executive who will continue to manage the expectations of key business leaders and politicians and seek an individual with excellent influencing and relationship management skills and an excellent track record of senior leadership. They have chosen to work with Aspen who will conduct a UK wide headhunt on their behalf.
Donogh O’Brien, who has primary responsibility for directing this search, said of the appointment;
"This is a high profile role which requires a candidate to have first class internal and external leadership skills during a period of change and uncertainty in the external environment.
Members of SCDI rely on strong and clear communication on matters economic, social and political significance in Scotland and as with any membership organisation they are looking for value and substance as well as an opportunity to learn and network at a higher level to reflect a return on investment.
Considering the political, economic and social environment all businesses face today the next Chief Executive will be mindful of the various views encouraged within the membership base yet will be able to communicate and comment in such a way that member organisations can flourish and grow. "
