I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in the post of Chief Executive.

NHS Forth Valley Board aims to improve health and healthcare for the people of Forth Valley. In recent years we celebrated the opening of the new Forth Valley Royal Hospital and we are now embarking on a new and exciting chapter of quality improvement as we continue to design and deliver healthcare services fit for the future.The Chief Executive provides leadership with the Corporate Management team to ensure that we achieve this aim.

Following the promotion of the current postholder, we wish to appoint another highly experienced, transformational leader to ensure delivery of the next stage of the Board’s Integrated Healthcare Strategy. The implementation of this strategy will require integrated working across boundaries with partners in local authorities. This is a pivotal time for change where, in partnership, local public services will create the infrastructure required to deliver better outcomes in health and social care for our local population. These ambitions will be achieved through our committed workforce and with our partners at all levels. This is, therefore, an important and exciting time to join us.
