Welcome from the Chair

Thank you for your interest in the role of a Committee Member at Rosehill. We have a sound track record in governance, compliance and performance, are financially strong and have a good reputation amongst our tenants and stakeholders. We have a proud history which has seen us grow over the years, from 375 homes when we first began in the 80s to over 1000 homes currently. The growth has been achieved through new build and stock transfers and has enabled us to provide quality, affordable homes to continue to meet the needs of current and future tenants. We are proud to be a community-based housing association which puts its tenants at the centre of everything it does.

The organisation underwent significant change in late 2024 when we changed our constitution from a fully mutual housing co-operative to a charitable registered housing association. This has enabled us to open up our membership and attract people with a range of skills and experience to join our Management Committee. In 2025 we recruited our first 2 non-tenant Committee Members who have brought a good mix of skills, experience and a fresh perspective which has added to the critical tenant insight that the current members provided.

We are looking for people to join our Management Committee who possess a strong skillset and relevant experience to enhance the make-up of the existing Committee, who believe in the ethos of community-based housing associations and share our vision and values.
