Hospice Manager Vacancy
Marie Curie are looking to appoint an exceptional Manager for their hospice in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be accountable for the overall day-to-day effective and efficient management of the Hospice 24 hours per day. He / she will work in close partnership with the Medical Director, Lead Nurse and Divisional General Manager on all issues which directly or indirectly influences the organisational strategy, clinical care, status and future of the hospice.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of senior management, preferably gained in health and social care, and a proven track record of setting and managing a significant-sized budget, including responsibility for securing income and managing expenditure. Their stakeholders’ expectations of service delivery are changing and they e need to ensure that the hospice is responding to these changing needs. Therefore the successful candidate must have the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external. As their focus on quality is core to what they do at the hospice, the post holder must be able to work with colleagues to continuously improve the standard of care they provide to patients and their families.
They are looking to appoint a confident, inspiring leader who is keen to take the hospice forward. The post holder should maintain a visible and supportive presence within the hospice, bringing clear direction and support to the hospice teams.
