River Clyde Homes is a forward thinking and dynamic not-for-profit voluntary housing organisation – we own and manage over 6,000 homes and provide factoring services to a further 2,250 homes in the Inverclyde area of Scotland. Led by a Board of 12 members, we put our customers at the heart of everything we do and ensure they have real influence. We also provide more than simple landlord services because we care about the people and the places where we work; we are an organisation who believes that customers and their homes really matter.

As Head of Asset Planning and Development you will contribute to the successful delivery of the organisation’s business planning process, particularly the development, delivery and review of the Asset Management Plan. The role will have responsibility for demonstrating significant improvement across all aspects of the Asset Management Plan and creating a high performing technical services function.

A Chartered Member of a recognised professional body, you will have significant experience of managing a substantial scale asset management, programme delivery and development function.

You will posses high levels of credibility and competence, demonstrating up to date knowledge and understanding of CDM and health and safety regulations, specifically the design and implementation of safe systems of work. Experience of leading change initiatives in the service sector will be important as will be the ability to collaborate and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
