Our client is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team based in Glasgow City Centre. You will be working for a charitable institution with strong links to Glasgow’s working culture and history. The organisation controls various Charitable Trusts which award funds to a range of causes in Glasgow, including for educational purposes, children and young people in need, funds for the elderly and funds to be used for deserving citizens of Glasgow. They award over £500,000 per year. They also fundraise to help specific causes and have recently launched a new charity.
In addition, they hold several Education projects to encourage children and students to learn about the original founding purpose of the organisation.
Due to the nature of the organisation the role is incredibly varied and will offer diverse and interesting day to day responsibilities, including preparing papers for various committees, organising events, representing the organisation at events, coordinating reports and recording meeting minutes.
