Business Development Manager
This is a great opportunity to work with a technology based SME, and be a key driving force in developing the business. Working with a diverse client base, offering a solutions based approach you will report to the Director of the business and be a part of the wider sales team. This a fast paced, fast growing business and it’s looking to grow further. This business operates in the technology space, ideally you will come from sales in technology, but other related areas may be considered.
This is a role for someone with a proven track record in a sales driven environment, focussing on driving new business growth for the company. Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will work within the business development team to identify new opportunities and customers, develop leads, and prepare detailed proposals, negotiate and win new contracts to accelerate the growth of the company. This role is very robust and requires a forward thinking, dynamic individual that can be flexible with the needs of the business. Travelling to prospective new clients will be a crucial part of the role as will having an innovative approach to Business Development.
You will come from a results orientated background, with a proven track record in development ideally in a technology solution sales environment. Strong account management skills are a must, as are leadership skills. You will have extensive experience of working in a dynamic and target driven environment and exceeded expectations by spotting opportunities and developing a business development plan with the wider team. Developing customer relationships is also a key part of this role and you should be able to demonstrate this, alongside a drive to succeed.
