Do you have what it takes to lead a customer focused, high performing Development and Property team to deliver a new ambitious strategy?

Clyde Valley Group are searching for an exceptional leader to join our Executive Team as Director of Development & Property. This role will impact thousands of lives across Lanarkshire and East Dunbartonshire through the delivery of excellent services and the creation of new affordable homes.

Established in 1996 Clyde Valley Group comprises Clyde Valley Housing Association as a Registered Social Landlord, a social purpose business and registered charity. Clyde Valley Property Services is its thriving wholly owned subsidiary. Together the Group owns and manages 4,200 properties and provides services to over 3,300 factored homeowners across Lanarkshire and East Dunbartonshire.

Our Group is about to launch its new 5 year Corporate Strategy which will see the continuation of its successful new build programme and track record as a top 5 developing RSL in Scotland. We aim to provide 626 new homes by 2022, investing £60m across 24 sites, delivered in partnership with 10 contractors. We’re also investing a further £3-5m each year in home improvements and day to day repairs, aiming to ensure that the quality of its tenants’ homes exceed expectations.

Our new Director will balance the priorities and needs of the development, asset management and repairs functions. Placing the customer experience at the forefront of all business activity will see our successful candidate focus on the continuous improvement of services and increased value for money.   You will also work to secure strategic housing investment in partnership with Scottish Government and local authorities.

CVG requires a candidate who has excellent leadership and people skills, puts customers first, and possesses a track record in the procurement and delivery of new build homes, asset management and property investment. The appointed candidate will have experience in developing and delivering strategy, whilst identifying new business opportunities.

Most of all our new Director will be passionate about delivering high quality homes and services that make a difference to people’s lives and to their communities.
