Over the last 15 years, Firstport has been – as its name alludes – the first port of call for social entrepreneurs in Scotland. From seed funding to business advice and training, it is a one-stop-shop for anyone who wants to start a business with social impact at its core.

The organisation has evolved over the years as a response to the needs of the individuals and organisations it supports. Services now go beyond seed funding and business support and include delivering an investment readiness programme for ambitious social enterprises and managing the £15m Catalyst fund, the first revenue-based social investment fund in Scotland.

This is an exciting time to join Firstport and the Deputy CEO role will play a a key role in helping to shape and guide the future growth and development of the organisation. As it continues to grow and evolve, the Deputy CEO will ensure that Firstport delivers an outstanding service that is client focused and efficient while meeting the company’s social and commercial objectives.
