Welcome Letter from the Chair
Welcome Letter from the Chair
Dear Candidate,
I am delighted that you are considering applying for the role of Chief Executive with Trust. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead an organisation with a proud heritage, a strong reputation, and a clear ambition for the future.
Trust has grown over the past five decades into a national provider of housing, care and support, yet we have retained the values and personal approach that come from being close to the people and communities we serve. Our customers rightly expect services that are reliable, compassionate and forward-looking, and it is our responsibility to meet and exceed those expectations. That means listening, learning and being ready to adapt as people’s needs and aspirations change.
As Chair, I am proud of the progress we have made. We have a committed Board, a skilled and passionate workforce, and a culture rooted in collaboration and respect. At the same time, we are ambitious for more: to embrace new technology, to build resilience in uncertain times, and to find fresh opportunities for growth that strengthen both our organisation and the communities we serve.
We are now looking for a leader who can bring vision and innovation to this next stage of our journey. You will inspire others, build strong partnerships and ensure that Trust continues to be a place where people feel valued, included and supported to give their best. Just as importantly, you will share our values and purpose, and our commitment to be the best organisation we can be for our customers, workforce and wider society.
If these ambitions resonate with you, and you are ready to take on the challenge of leading a modern and values-led national organisation, we would be very pleased to hear from you.
Yours sincerely,
Dr Norval Bryson
Chair
