Waverley Excursions Limited is the company that operates the World's last seagoing Paddle Steamer, Waverley, on behalf of the Registered Charity, Waverley Steam Navigation Limited.
The company is recruiting a Chief Executive to build on Waverley’s successful operational preservation.
Although based in Glasgow, Waverley sails throughout the UK including the South Coast and the Thames. She is a major part of Britain's maritime heritage.
The Chief Executive will work with and be supported by an experienced Board of Non Executive Directors. Board experience covers Finance, Shipping Operations, Legal and Commercial areas, all at senior level.
We are looking for someone who can work with, and direct, a small team of people. They must be able to communicate with partners, supporters and customers at all levels. It is important that they have an enthusiasm and commitment to take this high profile role.
Although we want to appoint someone to take on this role for the summer season the existing Chief Executive will be available on a part time basis until September
