Edinburgh College is seeking an outstanding leader to join our Senior Management Team as Assistant Principal Curriculum, with responsibility for the Centre of Health, Care and Wellbeing
This is a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team of around 140 staff, including direct line management of three Heads of Department. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our curriculum, driving innovation, and ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning and student outcomes.

Working closely with the Vice Principals and SMT colleagues, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the Centre’s contribution to the College’s vision, values, and long-term success. You will lead curriculum development, oversee quality assurance, manage resources effectively, and develop strong partnerships with employers, communities, and stakeholders.

About You
We are looking for an experienced and inspirational leader with:

  • A strong track record in college management and team leadership.
  • Proven ability to set strategic direction and deliver on ambitious targets.
  • Experience of leading change and driving continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A degree-level qualification (SCQF Level 9 or above).

A background in Health and Wellbeing and/or a teaching qualification (TQFE or equivalent) is desirable.
