Director of Engineering, Science, Technology & Built Environment

Welcome Page

I am delighted that you are considering applying for the role of Director of Engineering, Science, Technology & Built Environment here at Fife College.

As one of Scotland’s leading higher and further education colleges, we are at the forefront of supporting economic recovery and growth through the delivery of innovative, relevant and inclusive education and skills development in Fife and beyond. We are in year four of our very clear and compelling Strategic Plan which is underpinned by a talented and committed team and the necessary infrastructure to deliver a first-class learning experience.

We are keen to recruit an ambitious, engaging and energetic Director of Engineering, Science, Technology and Built Environment to join our senior leadership team – to lead transformational change, drive growth and deliver real success for the College.   At Fife College, we thrive on student-centred transformational change and that has never been more relevant and necessary as we emerge from the current pandemic. This role is a superb opportunity for an engaging, talented and innovative individual who likes a challenge, and who is keen to lead, influence and foster strategic collaboration to ensure sustainability and growth across the Faculty portfolio.

You would join us at a hugely exciting time. What we are doing at the College is fundamental to the rebuilding of the economy, working with businesses and Government to identify and fill skills gaps and drive growth; working within communities to provide opportunities for all, regardless of background; and working with students of all ages to provide the life enhancing skills, knowledge and resilience that will help shape their future success.

In addition to our fantastic facilities, including five campuses, a University Hub, a Conference Centre and state-of-the-art training and learning resources, we are also on track to deliver a new learning campus in Dunfermline in 2024 which promises to be transformational for education in Scotland.

If you feel you can bring the skills, experience and energy to this exciting and diverse role, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Best Wishes

Hugh Hall
Principal
