Harmeny Education Trust is a charity that provides care and education to remarkable children and young people from all over Scotland who’ve had a challenging start in life. Our therapeutic services enable children and young people to discover the wonders of childhood, and develop the skills and resilience they need to lead happy and fulfilling lives.

We are in a period of exciting and transformational change, as we extend our services and offer life-changing care and education to children and young people up to the age of 18. As part of this, we have raised almost £3.1m to build a new Learning Hub, which we will use to deliver our secondary curriculum as well as considering developing services to the wider community.

Our current Chief Executive is moving on after thirteen years, and along with the trustees and senior management team, has led the organisation through a period of strategic growth. We are seeking a Chief Executive who can lead Harmeny through the next phase of our development, to ensure that we continue to grow and diversify in line with our purpose, values and strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will be an ambassador for the organisation, lead the senior management team, and be a role model to the wider organisation, ensuring we continue to maintain our excellent reputation in offering the excellent care, education and development opportunities that our children and young people need and deserve.
