The Board of Trustees is responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of SCLD, developing the charity’s aims, objectives and goals in accordance with the governing document, legal and regulatory guidelines. Responsibility for the day to day management of the organisation is delegated by the Board to the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team.

The Board meets for half a day four times a year. There will be a requirement to participate in sub committees, working groups and occasional training/development days as appropriate.

This is an unpaid post. Reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
