The Scottish Tartans Authority is an independent charity established to protect, preserve and explain the culture and traditions of Scottish Tartans and Highland Dress. Our objective is to advance and promote the education of the public about Scottish Tartans and their origins, manufacture, use, history and development and we provide a unique link to the global Scottish Diaspora with associated benefits for Scotland’s economy.
We are now looking for a Director to ensure our Business Plan and Strategy is delivered. Key projects will include the development of our membership base and the delivery of a National Tartan Centre. Bringing a highly structured approach to the role, the successful candidate must have a demonstrable track record of organisational leadership together with commercial and political acumen. You will also have strong relationship, stakeholder management and communication skills.
