Group Chief Executive
Job Title: Group Chief Executive
Application Closing Date: Monday 9th January
Hours: 36 per week
Salary: £127,245 per annum plus benefits
About the Role
Due to the retirement of our existing Group Chief Executive, we are able to advertise this rare opportunity for an innovative, passionate and inspiring person to lead the Kingdom Group of companies.
You will ensure the continued success and development of Kingdom Housing Association (KHA) and its subsidiaries, Kingdom Support & Care (KSC) and Kingdom Initiatives (KI) by embedding strategies and a culture that deliver our strategic objectives and embody our CARES values of Customer, Accountable, Respect, Efficient and Supportive.
Kingdom Housing Association (KHA) is the parent organisation within the Kingdom Group. The Association is one of the leading providers of affordable housing in East Central Scotland with over 6,500 units and a very ambitious new homes development programme.
KI’s main purpose is to deliver complementary activities that KHA cannot undertake due to its charitable status and the company has a focused growth and development strategy.
KSC is a Community Interest Company and provides support to over 300 people throughout Fife and Falkirk, providing high quality and personalised support and care. KSC has ambitious plans for the development of new services and projects.
Our people really matter to us and we aspire to be an employer of choice. We already have Gold IiP and IiYP accreditation, are striving towards Platinum for both and were recently the highest placed Scottish RSL on The Times’ Top Companies to Work For list.
Kingdom was recognised as the Housing Provider of the Year at the recent CIH (Scotland) 2022 Excellence Awards.
Business development is a central component of all our strategies within the Kingdom Group.
First and foremost, you will be passionate about the work we do. You will be an experienced leader who is committed to creating an organisation where the customer comes first, our people are able to achieve their aspirations and where growth, continuous improvement, measured risk taking and good governance are well balanced. You will inspire our own people and people across the sector.
You will combine your experience and knowledge of the sector with your passion for innovation to develop and drive holistic strategies that give our people a vision and that delivers for our customers.
You’ll be educated to degree level, or have equivalent experience, have a full current driving licence and will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
The opportunity to shape and drive a socially-minded organisation with an appetite to do things differently and have a profound impact on the people and communities we serve. An attractive salary and benefits package including a contributory pension scheme and generous annual leave entitlement.
You will be able to benefit from a range of flexible working opportunities rarely seen at this level of role, including the possibility for hybrid and compressed working.
