Maryhill Housing Association is a charitable, community-based Housing Association operating in the North West of Glasgow. They operate in the Maryhill and Ruchill areas to improve, build, manage and maintain over 3000 homes. As a Registered Social Landlord, formed in 1977, they are regulated by the Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR) and operate within the SHR’s regulatory framework. They are also a registered property factor for more than 700 homes.
Maryhill Housing Association currently employ over 90 staff and have a turnover for the year ended 31 March 2015 of around £12.3m. They have built a number of new homes, mainly flats, terraced, 4 in a block and semi detached. They house a wide cross section of the community, providing housing for all sizes of family, sheltered and amenity housing. Their homes include high rise apartments and tenements as well as traditional houses and flats. They also support and deliver a significant programme of community regeneration activity.
As Project Manager you will plan and deliver the Association’s property investment and planned maintenance works and other major works programmes for tenants and factored owners including property adaptations, providing an excellent level of customer service and satisfaction. You will also be responsible for continuously reviewing and developing project specific plans for the pre contract and delivery phase of each project in the investment programme.
Key responsibilities will include the delivery of the asset management strategy, investment and financial plans, ensuring the delivery of planned maintenance, major repairs and property adaptations, assisting with the development and implementation of budgets and participating with the preparation of the annual Business and Corporate Plan.
