Salary: £55,000 – £60,000, Bonus of 10-15%, company car

Building on this fast-paced growth, Castle Water is looking to appoint a Sales Manager for a new business area currently in development. The Sales Manager will be tasked with B2B account management, ensuring that relationships with customers thrive. Castle Water is committed to providing customers with an outstanding service – the Sales Manager will ensure that the whole team delivers that promise. Customer service is a long-term outcome at Castle Water – healthy, long-lasting relationships with customers are at the heart of the business and the Sales Manager will be instrumental in fulfilling this priority. Part of the role will also be to work with the software developers to refine the product on offer in this new business area, ensuring that the Sales Manager has input into what is being sold, creating the best environment possible to drive sales.
The post will also involve the development of sales initiatives and materials to equip the team to successfully engage with key demographics. Skill in creating and delivering presentations will be important as these can both be part of the materials made for the team and also a key part of reporting to the management team. Sales, revenue and expenses reports will be presented to senior staff to keep them up to date in a concise and clear way.
The ideal candidate therefore will be an excellent communicator at all levels of the business, whether this is to customers, team members or senior managers. They will further have a proven track record of driving sales and delivering sales strategies to hit targets. The candidate will have a strong commercial focus and be adept at managing high value customers to deliver results. Industry expertise is essential; a background in Utilities is a must and experience with a broker or TPI highly desirable.
This role is offered with flexible working arrangements – the candidate is welcome to work remotely but must be willing to travel to Blairgowrie every 4-8 weeks and to meet customers on location as required.
