Muirhouse Housing Association is a Registered Social Landlord that provides 570 homes to tenants in the North of Edinburgh. MHA aim to deliver quality, affordable homes and services for the local community. Their vision includes strengthening engagement and partnerships to enrich the community and safeguard their environment. MHA are an outward facing organisation, who value close relationships with other Housing Associations and the local city council.

MHA are pleased to be appointing a new Corporate Services Manager who will be the strategic and operational lead for MHA’s Finance and corporate services function. This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation during a dynamic growth phase with an expanding team. There is an abundance of opportunity for fresh ideas and new challenges for the post holder who will join the team in driving the delivery of quality community housing.

The role will include contributing to the strategic leadership and development of the organisation and leading the corporate services team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Executive and with the MHA Board and the Board of their subsidiary Muirhouse Homes. They will lead and deliver  a variety of key functions including governance, compliance, financial management and corporate support services.

There will also be exciting opportunity for the Corporate Services Manager to work with key partners and stakeholders locally and nationally, collaborating with City of Edinburgh Council and local community organisations to build an even stronger reputation for MHA as an excellent housing provider and key contributor to the wider community services in Muirhouse.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in a role delivering financial management, business administration or corporate services and preferably will have experience of leading a team. A relevant qualification is desirable but not essential where there is equivalent experience. Direct RSL experience is not essential although transferability to the sector must be demonstrated in application. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused and comfortable working in a small team to deliver big outcomes.
