Social Care Alba provide high quality, professional Care at Home services in and around the Edinburgh area. Helping service users to live an independent and fulfilling life. They are there to help each individual and offer a tailored, bespoke service to its service users. Social Care Alba has an agreement in place, with City of Edinburgh Council, and provides care and support to individuals who wish to direct their own services under an Individual Service Fund (ISF).
The role of Care Manager is a vital role for the organisation as you will be responsible for the day to day management and running of the service. You will be an effective communicator across all groups including service users, families, staff, external stakeholders, public officials and elected members. The role requires a flexible approach as you will need to adapt to changing priorities of the business. You will report to the Directors and be accountable for the service, staffing, development and overall running of the service.
This role offers a great opportunity for someone either with experience of a similar role from a Care environment, or indeed someone who would be looking to move into the care sector. Management of a large number of staff is essential for this appointment, as is the ability to manage in a fast moving environment. Strong business management skills and the ability to spot opportunities in order to grow the business are essential.
