Aspen People are delighted to be working in partnership with Dunard Fund, to appoint its new Executive Director. Dunard Fund, based in Edinburgh, provides funding to inspire the performance of classical music at an international standard, and the rehabilitation of buildings with architectural significance.

The role is fixed term for up to four years and the time commitment is expected to be approximately ten days per month. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governance and strong operational experience, as they will manage three significant capital projects in Edinburgh, with the assistance of trustees. They will also be expected to attend meetings related to these projects with executives and others from IMPACT Scotland, the Royal High School Preservation Trust and the yet-to-be-formed National Centre for Music.

They will also be efficient, with excellent communication, team working skills, have an understanding of management accounts and cashflows, manage bank accounts, and act confidentially at all times.
