The purpose of this role will be to successfully lead a small Finance Team to provide the company with financial support to enable it to fulfil its key aims and objectives. In addition, the Financial Controller will require to ensure that the company complies with all the financial statutory requirements.
In return CMAL will provide a competitive salary, health care and pension.
The role will require a qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 10 year’s relevant experience in a similar company. The ideal candidate will have experience of preparing Statutory Accounts under International Financial Accounting Standards (IFRS) with demonstrable experience in accounting for fixed assets and large projects as CMAL’s business is building ships and major harbour infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will possess excellent skills in budgeting, forecasting, cash forecasting and scenario planning for the investment decision making process.
