Head of Asset Management
Paisley Housing Association is a Registered Social Landlord operating across the Paisley area providing quality homes at affordable rates for its communities. The association was established in 1984 and now owns and manages 1250 homes and provides factoring services to a further 287 customers. Paisley HA continues to develop new homes to improve housing supply across its communities and currently has 100 new homes in the pipeline. PHA works towards its mission of ensuring the continued provision of high quality homes and excellent customer services through continuous improvement and innovation.
The Association now seeks a new leader to join the SMT as Head of Asset Management due to the retirement of the current longstanding post holder. This role is key to the continued success of the organisation and holds responsibility for delivering investment to current stock and managing the ongoing development projects whilst ensuring current and future compliance and legislative changes are adhered to. Paisley HA has also seen an increase in need for adaptions and with EESH2 on the horizon the Head of Asset Management will look ahead and proactively seek out solutions to any potential challenges facing the organisation. The new post holder will join at a time of change and initially be tasked with restructuring the assets team to ensure optimal operation and effective collaboration with partners and other internal departments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background working with residential properties, exposure to management within the RSL sector is desirable but not essential, applications must highlight relevance and transferability. The candidate will have a track record in leading maintenance and investment programmes whilst capable in developing strategy and contributing to the wider business plans. The new postholder will also drive a culture of customer service and innovation to ensure Paisley HA puts the customer first. This is a key leadership position for the organisation, the new postholder must align with PHA’s core values and be highly competent in leading people.
