Vice Principal Corporate Services

As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Vice Principal Corporate Services will play a critical role in the on-going success of the College by providing positive leadership and informed strategic direction for a range of corporate functions and services.

With a focus on the strategic leadership of finance, the successful candidate will provide guidance, direction and management to support our long-term financial sustainability, whilst maximising opportunities for income generation and planning and managing finances to deliver on College aspirations.

As the most senior postholder responsible for estates, the Vice Principal Corporate Services will lead and inform our future estates strategies, playing a central role in linking financial, estates and governance strategies with realistic funding opportunities to deliver on our ambitions.

As a College Executive postholder the successful candidate will assume senior responsibility for a range of other designated services, tasks and outcomes. This will include providing leadership and practical input within teams, and on a cross-College basis, to meet objectives and achieve desired outcomes.

Fully qualified in accountancy, the successful candidate may come from the public and/or private sector, and must bring a commercial mind-set and a personal drive that supports and encourages the College to continue its forward momentum.  A high level of organisational, leadership, and project management skills are also essential as are excellent IT skills.

A creative, decisive, engaging and values based approach is essential, and we are looking for an individual that can best utilise the tremendous experience within our teams to achieve the outcomes needed to keep Dundee and Angus College at the forefront of the college sector.
