Celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year, West of Scotland Housing Association is a people focused, dynamic social housing provider with a unique history and vision to improve the Art of Living.  Part of Gentoo Group since April 2013, it provides great quality homes at affordable rents throughout the West of Scotland, including mainstream, sheltered and amenity housing, with an exciting future development plan.

The organisation is now looking to recruit a new Chief Executive to oversee the development of the Association’s strategy, policy and business planning.  As Chief Executive you will promote the highest standards of integrity, probity and corporate governance within the Association, and in accordance with the requirements of the Scottish Housing Regulator as well as good quality relations with customers, members, owners, elected representatives, the local community, the media and other bodies.  

You will have senior management experience with a successful RSL or housing related organisation, a track record of developing people and leading innovation and performance improvement. Experience of working with customers, communities and community organisations is key as is knowledge of housing issues and legislation.

You will be able to demonstrate experience of leading an organisation through significant and effective change as well as leading customer focused services and developing partnership and collaborative relationships with a range of business stakeholders.
