The position of Principal & Chief Executive of West College Scotland is amongst the most important in the educational landscape of the west of Scotland. This role is at the heart of a busy co-operative network of individuals and organisations, all striving to collaboratively contribute to inclusive economic growth in the Region.

This role demands an exceptional leader, capable of strengthening links with the many employers WCS are associated with, and of harnessing quality and innovation to deliver their ambitions.

This is a large and complex organisation spanning four local authority areas. Yet it is an organisation where people are respected at their work, where there is a “can-do” approach to everything they do and, above all, is student-focused. The successful candidate will reflect these values and be committed to further embedding them into the College’s wider culture.
